9/11/01: The Day As It Happened

Today, I'll be departing from my traditional political focus and recount the day that changed so many lives just nine short years ago. I struggled to understand the impact of that day and still have yet to grasp it's full meaning. One thing, however, is resoundingly clear; we are at war with an enemy that desires nothing less than the complete eradication of our way of life. Minimalize it, trivialize it, blame it on our presence in their nation or whatever else you wish; the fact remains that Islam does not tolerate dissent and will not rest until all believe as they do, or are destroyed.

What Are You Going To Do About It?

If you follow conservative blogs, which you most likely do since you're reading one, you've probably heard about or viewed the David Horowitz video confrontation with the MSA member at UCSD. Just in case, here is that video:



What are you going to do about it?

It's pretty obvious what we have here. A racist hate group which openly advocates the genocide of another people. You can call it a religion if you wish, I prefer to think of it as an ideology, or more specifically a political ideology no different than David Duke's or Adolf Hitler's. What do they think and preach about those who do not believe as they do?

Qur'an:8:7 "Allah wished to confirm the truth by His words: 'Wipe the infidels out to the last.'"

Qur'an:8:12 "Your Lord inspired the angels with the message: 'I am with you. Give firmness to the Believers. I will terrorize the unbelievers. Therefore smite them on their necks and every joint and incapacitate them. Strike off their heads and cut off each of their fingers and toes.'"

Qur'an:8:15 "Believers, when you meet unbelieving infidels in battle while you are marching for war, never turn your backs to them. If any turns his back on such a day, unless it be in a stratagem of war, a maneuver to rally his side, he draws on himself the wrath of Allah, and his abode is Hell, an evil refuge!"

Qur'an:8:39 "So, fight them till all opposition ends and the only religion is Islam."

Qur'an:8:45 "O believers! When you meet an army, be firm, and think of Allah's Name much; that you may prosper."

Qur'an:8:57 "If you meet them in battle, inflict on them such a defeat as would be a lesson for those who come after them, that they may be warned."Qur'an:8:15 "Believers, when you meet unbelieving infidels in battle while you are marching for war, never turn your backs to them. And whatever you spend in Allah's Cause shall be repaid unto you." [Another translation reads:] "Prepare against them whatever arms and cavalry you can muster that you may strike terror in the enemies of Allah, and others besides them not known to you. Whatever you spend in Allah's Cause will be repaid in full, and no wrong will be done to you."

Qur'an:9:5 "When the sacred forbidden months for fighting are past, fight and kill disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, beleaguer them, and lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war."

Make no mistake, they mean to kill you, your children, your parents, your grandchildren to the very last one. You are an infidel, a kaffir, a nonbeliever and you are to be wiped from the face of the earth. These people mean not to negotiate with you or to trade words, unless it be to lull you into a false sense of security. It is then that they will strike, "Strik[ing] off their heads and cut[ing] off each of their fingers and toes." What are you going to do about it?

We have allowed this subhuman race of dogs into our country in the name of inclusiveness and tolerance, and they openly conspire to destroy us. What are you going to do about it?

This is not another view point to be added to the list of ideas, to be ruminated upon and considered. It is not a culture which we must embrace in order to more completely understand humanity or the world. It is a death cult which openly vows to destroy all who do not believe the same. They have declared us their enemy in a war which most of us choose not to acknowledge. What are you going to do about it?

These are the people who have visited thousands of cold blooded murders upon us in our own land. People who choose to mock the site where nearly three thousand lost their lives in an unspeakable act of war, by opening a propaganda and recruitment station in it's very shadow. What are you going to do about it?

MOHAMMAD!

Unless you've been living in a religious sect, or on the planet Mars for the last week, you're well aware that Comedy Central censored an episode of South Park over their depictions of the douche-bag Mohammad. As a result, (via Reason blogger Michael Moynihan) Dan Savage has instituted amongst men, the first annual Everybody Draw Mohammad Day! The first annual EDMD is going down on May 20th, 2010 so get your submissions in order and send them to Reason (mmoynihan at reason.com) prior to the 20th! The best submissions will be featured on Reason's blog, Hit and Run.

I will be creating an original Mohammad piece and submitting it, and if I'm feeling super ballzy, I might even post it here.  Stay tuned!

Failure of the Intellectual Justification for 'Multiculturalism'

Homegrown Terrorist

No critically thinking adult can argue that the attack on our uniformed hero's last Thursday was an unprovoked terrorist attack against this great nation. It was a massacre of our defenders in arguably their most weak place.

There exists, predominantly on the political left, the ideal that in order for society perfected, one must rise above the not merely the color of an individual's skin, but also our cultural behaviors. Cultural differences are not to have attention drawn to them, but are instead to be accepted without question, lest you be labeled a racist or intolerant. So strong is the belief that these 'differences' must be overlooked that even to take notice of the obvious distinctions is demonized. This bedrock principle of multiculturalism is now so pervasive within our society that it has invaded our military at the cost of 13 lives and nearly 30 injuries. Make no mistake, this act of terrorism was perpetrated by a jihadist and he was abetted in his murderous rampage by the politically correct culture that now exists within our military structure.

Our society is paralyzed with the thought of being labeled insensitive, or worse getting sued for some trumped up charge of racsim. This paralysis grips not only individuals but companies and government agencies. So unwilling or unable to act were the supervisors within the intelligence community that Nidal Malik Hasan was able to repeatedly attempt to contact Al-Qaeda, pontificate on the heroism of suicide bombers and preach that infidels should be beheaded and have boiling oil poured down their throats in front of peers within the United States Army.

So powerful is the influence of multiculturalism within the intelligence and defense communities of this nation that they are rendered ineffective to the point that we are no safer now than we were on 9/10/2001. Arguably we are much worse off. Blatantly staring us in the face was a declared threat and the FBI and Army turned a blind eye to the danger. Hasan publicly broadcast his terrorist sympathies and with the full knowledge of the FBI attempted to contact our sworn enemy during war time, and yet nothing was done to impede his efforts. Worse yet, the FBI knew of the attempts at contact and willfully turned their eyes away. Diversity has rendered our military ineffectual at discerning threats within their own ranks. It has forced us to become slaves to those we are sworn to defend against.

The 'multiculturalism is a great threat to this country' meme has existed for many years, but now in a very public and publicized way people are able to see why and how the threat will contribute to the destruction of the greatest nation upon the face of this earth.
