Where is Jim Costa, and why wont he meet with his constituents? His office claims that he has not taken a position on the Health Care legislation. Unfortunately, he has not given his constituents in Kern, Tulare and Fresno counties a chance to voice their opinion, either for or against the legislation. Why?! What is Jim Costa afraid of? There are existing Town Hall meetings which Jim Costa can piggy back in order to stake out his position for his constituents, but instead he is AWOL.
Who is Jim Costa working for? When he was running for CA20, he claimed that it was for those living in the 20th Congressional District of California, however, when those he represents want to meet with him to discuss legislation which he will vote on, he is no where to be found. Jim Costa claims to be a Blue Dog Democrat on his congressional web page. If this is true, then Costa's only option when it comes to Health Care reform, if he wishes to be reelected to represent CA20, is to vote 'No.'
If you are living in the 20th Congressional District of California, be sure to contact Representative Costa to let him know how you feel about Health Care Reform. Even if you're not a constituent of CA20, contact Jim Costa's office to inquire as to why he doesn't feel it necessary to have a town hall meeting.
