U.S. law enforcement agents are following the rest of the Internet world into popular social-networking services, going undercover with false online profiles to communicate with suspects and gather private information, according to an internal Justice Department document...I don't buy the 'if you're not doing anything wrong, you don't have anything to be worried about' argument since Big Sister Napolitano added us all to a watch list for being 'Right Wing Extremists.'
It's difficult for me to buy that the anyone who posits a dissenting opinion on any of the political subjects in the headlines today, is not on the short list of individuals to be watched. After all, only right wing extremists are opposed to quality affordable health care for all... and global warming... and raising taxes... and... and... and...
Ever wonder what lengths the government can go to in order to minimize a threat, regardless of whether or not the law has been broken? Wonder no more.
Make sure you know who you're accepting a friend request from, and inform your family and friends. The government has no business knowing what you're doing and with whom unless you are charged with a crime.
