What do you get when you cross a coon-ass, libertarian views and a former Porn Star? You get potential senatorial candidate, Stormy Daniels. From the Boston Herald:
A Louisiana-born porn star says that if she goes through with a run for the U.S. Senate, she will campaign as a Republican. What can I say? She couldn't possibly be worse than this guy, this woman, this guy, this guy, this guy, this guy, this guy, this woman, this guy or this queen. All of whom have been, or are elected congress critters. If she runs, it'll be against David Vitter who is the socially conservative senator with a call girl in his closet, from Louisiana. Again, I see no downside here... A community organizer is qualified for the highest elected position in the United States, but a porn star can't be in congress. Sorry, that argument don't hold water.
In a Tuesday news release making light of a recent Republican spending controversy, Stormy Daniels notes that the Republican National Committee picked up a nearly $2,000 tab at a sex-themed California nightclub. Daniels’ statement says she was a lifelong Democrat, but that the Republicans best espouse what she called her "libertarian" views about sex and money.
Daniels, whose political spokesman has a history of working for Democrats, is to announce April 15 whether she will run against Republican Sen. David Vitter.
Anywho, welcome to the Grand Old Party, Stormy Daniels.

I really cannot figure out if she is hot or if my opinion of porn actresses is just so low as to make her look doable by comparison. That is my daily conundrum.
Yeah CL, we have had a lot of fun with this down here in The Bayou State.
She has milked this for a lot of publicity. Of course, Vitter will be re-elected. The Dem. they're running has the personality of a paper plate, and is facing the voter cascade against Dimocraps this time.
Do you know that David Vitter is the first Republican Senator from Louisiana since Reconstruction. And, he won his seat on the first ballot against two other serious challengers...before Hurricane Katrina emptied the Dimocrap voting block out of LA.
We didn't have party primaries 6 years ago (just changed it 2 years ago, so now we do). Every candidate ran in an "open primary," and the dude got about 52% I think. Damn shame that he's about as far up the ladder as he'll ever get. Fabulous Senator...failed human...
Oh, btw...she might be a porn star, but she is hot.
Paul, you've been alone for a long, long time.
Andy, David Vitter is guilty of poor judgment. As is nearly every single other person elected to Congress in the last 30 years. He's not really any more remarkable than any of the other people who lurk around capitol hill. I'm glad that he's a Republican representing LA.
And yes, Stormy is smokin'.
