Slaughter Solution Unconstitutional
The debate surrounding the 'Slaughter Solution' rages on. I discussed it in an earlier post asserting that it was unconstitutional. It's important to understand who the players are in the debate on the 'self-executing' rule. On one side we have Congressman Louise Slaughter, who holds a degree in microbiology and a masters degree in public health. After graduating, she went to work as a market research analyst for a chemical manufacturer, before jumping in to politics.
And on the other side we have Michael McConnell, a professor and director of Constitutional Law at Stanford Law School as well as a former judge on the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Let's hear what Judge McConnell has to say:
The WSJ piece that Megyn refers to in the interview can be found here. There should be little doubt about who is more qualified to discuss the legality of the 'Slaughter Solution,' and it ain't Slaughter.
