Number 9, Running Back for Oregon, LeGarrett Blount lost his sh*t. There's really no other way to put it. He was -5 yards carrying for the night. The Ducks as a team had less than 40 yards rushing the entire game... Hell, even my Raiders do better than that when playing against the Patriots. None-the-less, Blount was not a happy duck when the game drew to a close. As players were headed from the field to their locker rooms, Number 94 Defensive End, Byron Hout ran up to Blount and slapped him on the shoulder and more than likely talked some trash. That's when the wheels fell off. Blount turned to face Hout and then cleaned his clock with a right cross that Hout is sure to still be feeling Saturday night. Listen, I've seen guys go down, but Hout went all the way down. He was kissing the blue turf. No doubt that Blount's career is effectively ovah! It should be mentioned that Hout slapped Blount on the the shoulder pads, and Blount punched a helmetless Hout in the face, in return.
It's a sad state of affairs when PAC/WAC players feel it necessary to punch each other in the jaw after a disheartening loss. However, what a way to start College Footbaw 2009-2010, huh?!?
