Next time don't hide the money in your freezer, just funnel it to a lobbyist group founded by a former aide. At least then you can call your constituents redneck hillbilly racists, and get reelected! Hell, you can even funnel earmarks to your state and build an airport named after yourself that no one uses... sigh, what a rookie.William Jefferson was accused of helping promote Siemens 'iGate' technology in Africa after nearly $400,000 in bribes were paid to a company controlled by Dollar Bill's wife. Accusations he vehemently denied up until his conviction. The total value in bribes lies somewhere between $400,000 and $1 Million.
