Whiny Entitlement Class Puke Schooled By Jobs

7 Informed Opinions

Ryan Tate: "But I really want porn and Flash!!!"

Paul Mitchell absolutely loves Apple. So in love with Apple is Paul Mitchell, that he never misses a chance to bash anything MacApple manufactures, produces, sells or supports. But, that's okay because Paul Mitchell is a capitalist and he understands that Apple is free to produce a product that consumers are free to consume, and Paul can purchase elsewhere from another manufacturer. This is called a free market system. Paul gets it.

Ryan Tate, does not. Ryan Tate happens to work for one of my absolute favorite media companies, Gawker Media. While at home, in between long homo-erotic porn sessions, Ryan Tate happened across an iPad ad that made him so angry that he spit cheetos all over his monitor. The iPad ad proclaimed something about a revolution, and apparently that's all it took for Sh!tfit Tate to unload on Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO, with both barrels. The astounding thing is that Jobs wrote back.

The article, as much as I hate Gawker Media, is pretty interesting and you should check it out. Okay, I take it back. The article sucks, but the screenshots of the email exchange are very interesting. If, however, you don't have the stomach for it, allow me to give you the paraphrased version:
Ryan Tate: iPad sucks cause I can't watch porn, and you're a jerk for not letting me have Adobe on it or my iPhone.

Steve Jobs: "...what have you done that's so great? Do you create anything, or just criticize others work and belittle their motivations?"
Good for Jobs. The ridiculousness of Tate's logic is as simple as getting pissed that the Italian Restaurant that you're visiting is forcing you to eat Italian. No one forced Tate to purchase, or use any Apple products. He's free to pick up an HP, any time he wants. And I'm sure that HP wont 'censor' his access to porn either.

Dammit Janet

0 Informed Opinions

Jaba Napolitano
No matter how hard she tries, Janet Napolitano is one fat bag of FAIL! Let's see, there was the 'The system worked' debacle at Christmas time, then there was the 'RUSerious the Navy has submarines that can help with the oil spill?!?!' moment, of course we had the 'Watch out for Vietnam Vets, Libertarians and Civil War Reenactors, they're super dangerous Report' and most recently the zOMG!! There's a flood in Tennessee (which started 9 days ago, but I'm just now getting around to a visit). One of her very best moments, however, has to be the 'one-off' statement regarding Fievel Shahrazad, or whatever the hell his name was. When she made the statement on May 2nd, clues were sketchy, but there was good reason to believe that he was linked with terrorist forces operating in Pakistan. Still this bloated bimbo waddled out in front of a microphone and attempted, falsely (again) to reassure the country that Homeland Security was all over this mess, and that we were once again safe. Hell, from the looks of it, I had a better chance at discovering this loser was going to blow up his Pathfinder by searching for clues digging on my tomato garden. But don't you fret, Nanny Janny's on the case! Tim Cavanaugh over at Reason suggests that it's time for Dammit Janet to go. Can't say as I blame him.
Napolitano's rhetorical slip is a little too serious to be palmed off with some linguistic woolgathering. She has made clear repeatedly that she believes people with Gadsden flag bumper stickers are a greater threat to domestic tranquility than out-of-the-closet terrorists who receive training and material assistance in foreign terror centers. She has been wrong about this every time, and she will continue to be wrong until Americans actually die.

This is an obvious politicization of her office. (Napolitano's favored targets -- health care protesters and disgruntled veterans -- are distinguished not by their propensity toward violence but by their opposition to the administration.) But if you believe in the necessity of a Homeland Security Department, every day Napolitano is in charge of it creates an actual risk to life and property. Napolitano has a positive burden of proof: She needs to demonstrate some understanding of how to do her job, or she needs to be fired, for the security of the United States and the safety of the American people.
Six Year Old Six Meat Buffet agrees.
Napoleon Napolitano!
And a load of others.

Brilliance on the Political Left

1 Informed Opinion

As some of you know, I am constantly searching for the most brilliant people on the left. There are those who would argue that it is a vain effort, but I disagree because I truly believe that there are intelligent people on both the right and the left.

Take this gentleman for example. The grandson of German immigrants, he took an interest in journalism while attending high school, covering sports for The News-Gazette. He began writing letters of comment to science fiction fanzines, and became involved in sci-fi fandom writing his own articles. His senior year, he won a high school association state speech championship. He went on to receive an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

His writing career has brought him notoriety the world around, and is widely believed to be one of (if not the) best in his field. He's also written screenplays, published several books and made appearances in movies. He's a guest lecturer at the University of Chicago, and writes a column for a major Chicago newspaper. It's easy to say that this man is quite successful and must be amongst the best and the brightest. Who am I speaking of? Why, this man, of course:

Roger Ebert's latest diarrhea diatribe
Yes, Roger Ebert, one of the most distinguished minds on the left today. What makes Roger such an elite leftist mind? Well in addition to the brilliance he displayed on his twitter page above, he's also advocated the 'horse whipping' of Rush Limbaugh for Limbaugh's criticism of Obama's handling of the Haitian earthquake and specifically the effort to funnel donations through the White House website. Roger Ebert continues to spew diarrhea from what's left of his smug little pie hole.

Now, specifically to the tweet he blessed the world with yesterday. Ebert was responding to the story out of Morgan Hill, CA where students wearing American Flag clothing on the 5th of May were kicked out of school. Why were they asked to remove the clothing, or face suspension? Why, because the 5th of May is a holiday for Mexicans, and wearing American Flag themed clothing on such a day would be insensitive to Mexican-Americans. AYFKM?!

Let's dive into this issue, just a skosh. First, I am going to be generous and assume that since the students are enrolled at a high school in Morgan Hill that they are, in fact legal citizens, and not criminal aliens. Therefore, the American flag is their flag, too. No citizen should be offended at the sight of their flag, no citizen. Cinco de Mayo is a holiday and celebration of the Mexican Army's victory over the French. While it has become a day of revelry in the United States, it is not a holiday and enjoys no state or federal distinction as such, nor should it. There are some who might say that the boys at Live Oak High School wore the clothing on May 5th in an effort to provoke students of Hispanic decent. Even if that were the boys intent, the wearing of patriotic clothing should never be a provocation and the fact that it might be or that it is, is an illustration of the government's failure to encourage and enforce assimilation into US society. This has become a politically charged issue, primarily because of the federal government's and California state government's unwillingness to address illegal immigration. We have also avoided enforcing assimilation into US culture and have encouraged the radical embracing of Mexican culture all across the southwest. Make no mistake, this is a huge problem. Don't believe me? Here's what Theodore Roosevelt had to say about immigrants, emphasis mine:
"In the first place we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the man's becoming in very fact an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but is something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag, which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization, just as much as it excludes any foreign flag of a nation to which we are hostile...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people." ~1919
---
“We can have no "50-50" allegiance in this country. Either a man is an American and nothing else, or he is not an American at all.”
These are quotes from an American President from nearly a century ago, and yet we've forgotten these words in favor of inclusiveness and cultural sensitivity. Teddy was clear, anyone who asserts themselves to be anything other than 100% American is not an American at all.

This kinda flies in what's left of the face of Roger Ebert and his assertion that anyone who chooses to wear American Flag T-Shirts on May 5th are the same as traitors, doesn't it? Ebert, and those who believe as he does are a threat to the nation, and for that, he should be horse whipped. Roger Ebert has little respect for our nation of laws, and quite possibly even less respect for the men who fought to make her what she is today. He places no value on the pillars of our society (language, culture and history), and for that should be dragged by his slack jaw to the border, and tossed over.

Roger Ebert, one of the 'brilliant minds' on today's left.

--

Andy's take.

Innominatus has some interesting thoughts on Cinco de Mayo.

The only thing I can't figure out is why Ebert was suggesting that lefty kids wearing USSR flag clothing (who are heroes in his eyes) must be subjected to hanging out with the patriotic zealots wearing American flag gear.

It's been a while since I've done a good old fashioned link dump ala Paul Mitchell, so lets dust 'er off and giver 'er a go!

They're putting a wind farm, where?!?

Cape Wind Power Approved. Translation: Ted Kennedy is rolling over in his grave.

Majority believes Health Care legislation will increase deficits. Hope for America yet?

The State will take your property for the benefit of others, property which you own but are not entitled to sell. That's brilliant.

An expose about the government run monopoly everybody loves to hate. Since when is choice a bad thing?

Via Andy, why there's little crime in Switzerland. Now if they could get their shit together on the direct democracy thing, they'd be squared away.

Obama appoints a commission to investigate the idiot fiscal moves he made last year. Keep in mind, this is the most smartest President, evah!

Guess the party. New York (state) Senator hurls racist invective at colleagues. Has history of rage control issues.

Basil needs some advice. Help a brother out.

Love Story. Evil Clown and the Racist Asshat. Bonus, Evil Clown now on Twitter... Fair warning on the link!

How To Slander

0 Informed Opinions

Democrats can teach us lots of useful things. Here's one example: Slander. Watch this video.

Did you catch the part where they said "Paul Ryan actually voted to abolish Medicare..." Under the picture of Ryan in the video, the DNC cited the source legislation. Curious what the legislation stated, I looked it up.

Here is the record of the vote.

Here is the search result at the Library of Congress.

And finally, here is the amendment which Paul Ryan proposed. What follows is the legislative text.
An amendment in the nature of a substitute numbered 4 printed in House Report 111-73 which seeks to spend $4.8 trillion less than the President's budget over 10 years; sets spending levels which are 20.7% of GDP; freezes non-defense/non- veterans spending; borrows $3.6 trillion less than the President's budget over 10 years; seeks to hold debt to 65% of GDP; and puts forward a long-term budget to bring debt under control. The substitute also seeks to permanently extend 2001 and 2003 tax relief; permanently fix the Alternative Minimum Tax; create 2.1 million more jobs than the Democrats' budget; suspend capital gains taxes through 2010; and reduce the corporate tax rate to 25% from the current 35%. The amendment also seeks to provide $5 billion over the President's budget for Defense; $540 million over the President's budget for Veterans; to save $50 billion annually for war or unmet defense needs; and provide for health and retirement security by reforming programs to ensure they provide benefits for future beneficiaries.
My reading comprehension may be suffering, but I do not see where Mr. Ryan suggested or voted for the abolition of medicare. Ryan was offering an amendment to the Congressional Budget for 2010. In the end, Ryan voted no on the budget, but voted yes on the amendment. Where did he 'vote to abolish Medicare' again?

Video Education

Whilest perusing the internet, as I'm wont to do, I began searching for the smartest person on the political left. Here is his video.

Since it's rather late at night/early in the morning, and I can hear my pillow calling out to me, I am asking each of you to take a 'fact' out of this video and write a response in the comments. I was able to find several inaccuracies within the video and am interested to find out if you'll come up with the same and provide me with some I missed.

Idiot Politicians

1 Informed Opinion

I may well be the last to the table with this revelation, but at least I showed up. I am hard pressed to find any intelligence on the left. Especially from their elected officials. Sure, sure; the republicans have dome some extremely stupid crap here lately. However, they've not suggested that an expanded military presence on an island would cause a defying of physics, or that the restriction of use of a seasoning would reduce health care costs. Let's take a look, shall we:

First up is Congressman Hank Johnson who replaced Cynthia McKinney. Yes, that Cynthia McKinney. You know, now that I think about it, maybe this is the best that that congressional district has to offer... This may well be their best and their brightest. Take it away, white hoods Hank.

The look on the face of the military officer is hysterical. Rest assured, however, that if for some reason, the laws of physics somehow become moot, and this island were to 'tip over and capsize,' it would be the result of global warming... and the marines. Keep in mind that Hank Johnson has a job, and my wife who has an MBA from Fresno State does not.

Our next video entry comes from the liberal utopia of New York City. More accurately, Brooklyn. Felix Ortiz is an Assemblyman who is making an effort to ban that evil nemesis that we've all grown to hate; salt. Wait... what?!

Wow. You know you're batshit crazy if you beat out the politicians who made a woman cover up a snow sculpture rendition of the Venus de Milo because it was nekkid. Is it just me, or are the mentally handicapped breeding?

Buy salt in bulk, and hide it. Even though it poses no health risks to people who are not already at risk, the idiots in power will continue to seek its demise.

Intelligence is a precious commodity, and apparently a commodity that is dwindling. Keep yours and help pass it on to the next generation before it is lost for eternity.

Damn, I hate Democrats.

Only In California

2 Informed Opinions

Yeah, that's a Prius with Dubs and a Body Kit.  That's how we roll!

A friend who works for a state official reported that they have today off. What, you don't know about the holiday of today?! What are you, some kind of holiday denier? Oh! That's right, you're probably not from California and don't know about all the batshit crazy things we do here. Good news for you, I am going to attempt to compile a list of some of them so you can learn. Ready? Only in California:

  • We celebrate illegal immigration. March 31st is Cesar Chavez day in CA and 7 other states. It's the day that California has set aside to celebrate Cesar Chavez's contribution to provide illegal immigrants with better working conditions. !Viva California!

  • The courts protect useless fish. What, your fish aren't court protected? In California, we provide legal rights to fish. Especially bait fish. Why? Who the f*ck knows. Apparently, Delta Smelt are on the brink of extinction because they're so goddam stupid that they swim into pumps designed to move water from California's delta system into the aqueduct system which supplies water to everywhere else in the state. No water, means no agriculture in central California. No Ag means no grapes, tomatoes, almonds, cotton, peaches, apples, citrus, roses, garlic, onions and virtually every other selection in your produce department.

  • We have unelected bureaucrats that dictate pollution standards for the rest of the nation! Drive a truck? Know someone who does? Ask them about DPF's and Urea. Diesel Particulate Filters are part of a heavy trucks emissions equipment which collect and trap diesel particulates. Everyone in the nation who owns a truck has or will have one of these in the very near future because California's Air Resources Board says so! You see, when DPF systems and ACR systems were added to trucks, the conservative cost increases for each technology were roughly 10% of the cost of the vehicle. Figure an average class 8 truck runs about $110,000 then do the math. All courtesy of California!

  • If it's yellow, let it mellow, but if it's brown flush it down. Have you ever given a thought to what to do with your business once you've, you know, off loaded it? We do in California. See, since about 1987, we've been in a perpetual state of drought. This means when you finish up, you have to remember, if it's yellow, let it mellow. This means that you don't flush. I'll let your mind take it away from there.

  • We let gay men take over a downtown street and perform explicit sexual acts in public. What, you don't do this in your home town? It's called the Folsom Street Fair and there are pictures of it up at Zombie Time. The link is here, but do not click it unless you haven't eaten recently and there are no kids within a quarter mile. EXTREME CONTENT WARNING.
So now that you're all jealous and stuff, California is just aching to have you! Hell, we've only lost 112 businesses explicitly seeking another location from which to conduct business. Probably has something to do with the tax rate:
  • California's State/Local Tax Burden is above the national average

  • California's 2010 Business Tax Climate ranks 48th nationally.

  • California's Top Individual Income Tax Rate is 4th highest in the nation.

  • California's Corporate Income Tax Rate is highest in the west.

  • California's Sales Tax Rate is highest in the nation
As long as we're on the subject of how great California is, here's a list from The Business Relocation Coach of the top ten reasons businesses leave California.
#10 -- Unfair Taxes: The Tax Foundation in their newest report lists California at No. 48 for tax fairness – ahead of only New York and New Jersey.

#9 -- Most Expensive Business Locations: The Rose Institute of State and Local Government reported in the latest "Cost of Doing Business Survey" that California cities continue to be some of the most expensive locations to do business in the United States.

#8 -- Worst Performing Labor: The Pacific Research Institute found that California’s labor performance in a recent five-year period is among the worst performing in the nation.

#7 -- Dreadful Legal Treatment: The Civil Justice Association of California said the state ranks 44th in legal fairness to business. Los Angeles was again named the least fair and reasonable litigation environment in the entire country.

#6 -- Worst Regulatory Burden: A study by the consulting firm Bain & Co. measured the cost, uncertainty and complexity of regulations and in constructing a “regulatory hassle index” found that "California is farworse than any other state by a very significant margin."

#5 -- Harsh Treatment Motivates Exists: Again Bain & Co. (they’re a busy group) found that more than half of California business leaders – an astonishing 60 percent – said they have policies in place to restrict job growth in the state or move jobs to other U.S. locations.

#4 -- Downright Unfriendliness:: The Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council in Virginia found that California ranked 49th overall in terms of business friendliness.

#3 -- High Misery Index: The Associated Press calculates what it calls a monthly "misery index" – California is close to the bottom of the list.

#2 -- Uncontrollable Spending: Extravagant state spending continues and pollsters have found people are much angrier about California government – more than they've ever been in recorded polling history.

And the #1 reason why California companies are calling the moving companies” – Chief Executive magazine recently found California to be the worst state in the nation in which to do business. Texas was found to be the best.

It’s no wonder that California has lost more than one million jobs in recent years while Texas employment levels have remained relatively stable.>
So, you know, we got that going for us. What've you got?!

HCR: Done; Public Option: Next

2 Informed Opinions

If you're wondering just how tone deaf the liberals in Congress are, get a load of this. The house liberal caucus is set to introduce new legislation to 'revive the public option.'
Rep. Lynn Woolsey (D-Calif.), the co-chairwoman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, said she plans to unveil legislation to add the government-run option to the national healthcare exchange established by legislation President Barack Obama is to sign tomorrow.

"We will introduce a robust public option bill on the very day the president signs the reconciliation bill into law," Woolsey said Monday during an interview on MSNBC.
This has been the goal from day one, and the Democrats are closer than they ever should have been to getting it done. If there is any fight left in your body, you'd better begin to voice your opposition to this latest effort to completely destroy the private sector health insurance business and personal medical choice rights.

Make no mistake, this will drive the final nail into the coffin of the greatest health care system that the world had ever known. When the public option goes into effect, the last traces of the private medical system in the United States will be replaced with an NHS and Canadian style health care system. Write, call, email, throw a brick or a coffin, whatever you have to do to get your Congress critter to listen to you. Public Option: DO NOT WANT!

Tell Them How You Really Feel

2 Informed Opinions

Fair warning, you may need to employ earmuffs. Or eyemuffs as it were.

So, let's take a poll: Would you say that you generally pleased with the outcome of the 'health care reform' bill and process? Or, would you say that you're f#cking pissed and you want blood revenge. Well if you chose the later, then you're feelings are in line with about 98 percent of the country judging from these headlines at Memeorandum.

Democrats care about few things, but one of the those things which they treasure above most others would be power. They know that by creating a new entitlement, they have in effect created a more dependent society which will be less likely to desire the overturn of the welfare that has been given them. This also means that when it comes time for elections, the numb, fat and dumb voter is more than likely going to choose the Democrat candidate versus the jerk that's trying to cut his medicare, welfare, health care, etc.

Back to the present and the overwhelming anger aimed at Democrats, over which they are indignant. From Politico:
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer is warning that some of his Democratic colleagues are being threatened with violence when they go back to their districts — and he wants Republicans to stand up and condemn the threats.

The Maryland Democrat said more than 10 House Democrats have reported incidents of threats or other forms of harassment about their support of the highly divisive health insurance overhaul vote. Hoyer emphasized that he didn’t have a specific number of threats and that was just an estimate.

TheFederal Bureau of Investigation, Capitol Police and sergeant at arms briefed Democrats behind closed doors today about the incidents of violence — the most high profile of which have been toward Democratic Reps. Thomas Perriello of Virginia, Steve Driehaus of Ohio and Louise Slaughter of New York.

Read more: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0310/34953.html#ixzz0jAWkL1EM
From The Hill:
House Democratic and Republican leaders have conferred to discuss a response to a "significant" number of threats against lawmakers.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said that he, along with Democratic and Republican leaders, have discussed new security precautions that lawmakers should take after a spike in threats to lawmakers following a controversial healthcare vote this past weekend.

"Any member who feels themselves at risk is getting attention from the proper authority," Hoyer said during brief remarks on Wednesday.
From The New York Times:
Democratic lawmakers have received death threats and been the victims of vandalism because of their votes in favor of the health care bill, lawmakers and law enforcement officials said Wednesday, as the Congressional debate over the issue headed toward a bitter and divisive conclusion.

Representative Steny H. Hoyer, Democrat of Maryland and the majority leader, said at least 10 House members had raised concerns about their personal security since Sunday’s climactic vote, and Mr. Hoyer characterized the cases as serious.

At least two Congressional district offices were vandalized and Representative Louise M. Slaughter, a senior Democrat from New York, received a phone message threatening sniper attacks against lawmakers and their families.

Ms. Slaughter also reported that a brick was thrown through a window of her office in Niagara Falls, and Representative Gabrielle Giffords, Democrat of Arizona, said Monday that her Tucson office was vandalized after the vote.
Are you beginning to get the picture here?

From CNN:
Democratic congressional leaders Wednesday demanded Republicans join them in condemning a spate of threats and vandalism that has followed Sunday's vote on a sweeping overhaul of the U.S. health care system.

More than 10 Democrats have reported trouble since the weekend vote, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer told reporters. Windows have been smashed at Democratic offices in at least three states, and federal agents were investigating whether a cut gas line at the home of a Virginia congressman's brother was related to the lawmaker's yes vote.

Democracy "is not about violence," Hoyer said at a news conference with South Carolina Rep. James Clyburn, the No. 2 Democrat in the House of Representatives.
And on, and on, and on...

The American people have not been so unitedly against something since, damn I dunno, Prohibition. Yet the Democrats are proud enough of this legislation as to wear it as a badge of honor. Excuse me if I don't just jump down and kiss your feet as you walk by because you've decided how my health care should be provided, by whom and at what cost. Oh, and fuck you for driving good, honest people out of business because of your damn burdensome, redistributive taxes, ass monkeys. As if it wasn't hard enough to find a job in this goddam economy. I'm very tempted to grab a brick.

SARAH PALIN SAYS F*@# YOU! or something...

0 Informed Opinions

Fair warning. I am in a funk and my writing will reflect that. I seem to have taken off my razor sharp wit and drippy sarcasm before I went to bed last night and have yet to find it this morning. My apologies...
In today's example of leftist morons, we have a real winner. This esteemed libtard goes by the name of Kagro X, aka David Waldman. Not that David Waldman, this one:

Yes, so brilliant is this man, that he calls his wife an idiot who betrayed her own kind by starting the propagandist outlet of Fox News, and he admits to torturing his children all on his public profile at DKos.

Anyway, on to the real reason for the post. It should not surprise anyone at this point that leftists and progressives have no morals. It should not surprise anyone that they are so invested in a thought process that they will damn all evidence to the contrary to forward their bilk. Although it could be implied in the last sentence, I am not speaking of Global Warming, Healthcare; per se, Minimum Wage, Gay Rights, ACORN, Second Hand Smoke or any typical lefty talking point du jour. Well, okay, maybe just one lefty talking point. You know the one about Sarah Palin being a foaming at the mouth mental midget? Seems, David X accuses Palin of telling everyone else to screw off after she got hers. True story, well sort of...

See! It says so, right there in the headline. Sarah Palin, apparently, is a fan of Socialized Medicine when she needs to use it, but "f*@#" the rest of y'all.

There's only one minor, teensy weensy little detail that David X forgot to check out before he hammered Palin. See, according to Palin, they were going across the border into Canada to get medical help in "the 60's," however, Yukon didn't begin Socialized Healthcare until 1972. Hmm, I'm pretty sure that "the 60's" and 1972 are different decades, but I might be off. I'll go ahead and defer to Barack "57 States" Obama on that one.

I've decided that I like posting pictures and videos, as it's a lot less typing for me. So, in our next installment, I offer for your viewing pleasure a videographic representation of the two parties approach to legislation. Enjoy.

This is how the Democrat[ic]s approach legislation. Brain: off, Heartstrings: pulled.

This is how the Republicans approach legilsation. Brain: fully engaged much to the chagrin of the smartest president, evah, Heartstrings: neatly tucked away for a real tragedy.

Of course, the best part of this is that Dental Coverage is NOT included in Obamacare. So tell your constituent to get comfy and send her a tube of polygrip.

Shortly thereafter, Peebo explained his complete ignorance on the difference between liabilty and collision automobile coverage (both of which have absolutely nothing to do with health coverage) then he ended things up by picking a wicked booger on live TV. Keep in mind that George W Bush was the dumbest President in history.

Poking Fun At The Handicapped Is AWESOME!

3 Informed Opinions

Fair warning, this morning being what it has, I've managed to work myself up into a bitchy froth and reading the news only added to it. Let's dive right in shall we?
You'll recall that less than a week ago the travesty which passes for comedy on Fox called 'Family Guy' decided to fall in line behind every other leftist in the country and address a very important political issue head on. Of course I am speaking of Sarah Palin's son Trig, who happens to live with Down Syndrome. Yes, thank G_d we have such brave souls on the left who are willing to address the really important issues of the day, like making fun of a political opponents child who is mentally handicapped. The episode in question portrays one of the main characters, Chris, dating a girl who is revealed to have down syndrome. While revealing details about herself, she drops this line:
"My dad's an accountant, and my mom's the former governor of Alaska."
This is what passes as humor from the cesspool known as Hollyweird. Sarah Palin for her part was rightfully outraged:
She said she was too ticked off to respond personally --"felt like another kick in the gut," she said -- so on Palin's Facebook page her daughter Bristol said, in part, "People with special needs face challenges that many of us will never confront, and yet they are some of the kindest and most loving people you'll ever meet. Their lives are difficult enough as it is, so why would anyone want to make their lives more difficult by mocking them?"
There appeared to be the end. A prepubescent boy's sense of humor which had been fashioned into a 'sitcom' takes a stab at a former candidate for Vice President's mentally handicapped son. The former candidate responds, rightfully so. Thus ends the saga, right?

Wrong. Enter Andrea Friedman, an accomplished actress who also lives with down syndrome. Not content sitting by and allowing this disgraceful episode to pass by, she pens a response to Palin's outrage calling the joke "sarcasm," read below:
"I guess former Governor Palin does not have a sense of humor. I thought the line "I am the daughter of the former governor of Alaska" was very funny. I think the word is "sarcasm".

In my family we think laughing is good. My parents raised me to have a sense of humor and to live a normal life. My mother did not carry me around under her arm like a loaf of French bread the way former Governor Palin carries her son Trig around looking for sympathy and votes."

Timeout. I am about to disembowel this woman. And, since she happens to be the most intelligent person that the left has to offer, I declare this the definitive take down of all lefties. From this point forward, should some moonbat show up trying to spread the shit which proceeds from their mouths as intellectual and insightful, I will simply refer them back to this post, and ignore them. /Timeout
"Hey, look! It's okay for Andrea to make fun, cause she's handicapped, too! We did it, we're completely covered on this one! If the right comes back at us, we'll accuse them of hating the handicapped!"

Hey Andrea, quit being a tool. You can have any opinion you want, but do you really think that you are doing yourself or any other person with down syndrome favors by ripping on an infant who happens to have down syndrome? Really?! If you really cared about the advancement of people with down syndrome, you'd be railing against the idea of anyone making fun of any person who has down syndrome for any reason. Instead you're falling in line with all the other lefties justifying the behavior because you disagree with Palin's politics. It's this mentality which allows outbursts like Rahm Emanuel's to be far too commonplace in our society. Shame on you.

What those the left do not seem to comprehend is that it's not okay to make fun of a minor person who has no control over their circumstances. In this case, Trig does not have the ability to control what his mother does with her life, nor what she does with him, nor does he have the ability to control his mental handicap. And for G_d's sake, the kid is a MINOR. You want to make fun of a candidate, go for it. They chose the public life and sought out all the attention it brings, both good and bad. But leave the kids out of it. Of course we on the right have no room to talk, since we have been relentlessly bashing Frances Quinn Hunter, ever since we found out she was the daughter of John Edwards. Oh wait, that's right, we haven't.

Let's go ahead and dispell the notion that Sarah Palin is using Trig to 'get votes.' Can anyone help me out here? What office is it that Palin is seeking? Anyone? That's right, she's not. She's a private citizen. Regardless, in at least one blog, Andrea Freidman's response was paired with this photograph. Based on the age of Trig in the photo, it's obvious that the picture was taken during a book signing stop, and NOT a campaign rally. So nice try on the justification there, but all the left has proven, once again, is that they have no respect for life, whatsoever. They consider Trig Palin a post cervical fetus, who should have been aborted.

You want to hurl insults at a public figure, go for it. You want to make fun of a person seeking public office, it's your right. You want to make fart jokes and idolize Noam Chomsky and call it great TV, you have that right under the First Amendment. You also have the right to belittle a little boy with down syndrome because you disagree with the politics of his mother. That doesn't make it right and you should have more class, but then again, this is the left we're talking about.

"Hey! While we're out bashing a mentally handicapped minor child, let's revive the original birther movement and question Trig's maternity!!! ALRIGHT!
Damn, you guys on the left really know how to party. All that's left is to drag out Andrew Sullivan's lame ass...

And right on cue...

1st Amendment Rights For Me, Not For Thee

0 Informed Opinions

New York Institute for Special Education, Class Picture 2009
Surely if you've been living above ground for the last three weeks you recall the utter conniption the lefties had when the Supreme Court overturned the McCain Feingold legislation banning unregulated donations to the national parties. The law also explicitly denied the ability of large corporations to directly donate to candidates and advertise in an election for or against any candidate or issue. Democrats decried the court's decision as allowing corporations (including foreign) to spend without limit to influence elections here in the United States. This is of course a claim which has no basis in the actual understanding of law. Quoteth I from ABC News, emphasis mine:
Under current law, foreign nationals cannot donate to political candidates or pay for campaign ads. Concerns that other countries might try to influence American elections are not merely academic. In the late 1990s the Justice Department and congressional investigators uncovered efforts by foreign donors to infiltrate the American political system through donations to the Democratic Party under Bill Clinton. Among those implicated was Johnny Chung, a Clinton fund-raiser who told Federal investigators that a large part of the nearly $100,000 he gave the Democrats in the 1996 campaign came from China. According to published reports, Democrats had to return another $1.6 million brought in by another prominent Clinton money man, John Huang, after questions were raised about the source of the funds.
So, you're saying that the only ones to ever exploit the system in place by accepting donations from foreign companies was the Democrats?! Say it ain't so! Anyhoo, looks as though the party of law breakers found another loophole to exploit. From Hot Air:
"...the New York Times reports today, one select group of Democrats have had no problem cultivating corporate influence, and doing so by working around the McCain-Feingold restrictions their party claims to champion:

When the Congressional Black Caucus wanted to pay off the mortgage on its foundation’s stately 1930s redbrick headquarters on Embassy Row, it turned to a familiar roster of friends: corporate backers like Wal-Mart, AT&T, General Motors, Coca-Cola and Altria, the nation’s largest tobacco company.

Soon enough, in 2008, a jazz band was playing at what amounted to a mortgage-burning party for the $4 million town house.

Most political groups in Washington would have been barred by law from accepting that kind of direct aid from corporations. But by taking advantage of political finance laws, the caucus has built a fund-raising juggernaut unlike anything else in town.

It has a traditional political fund-raising arm subject to federal rules. But it also has a network of nonprofit groups and charities that allow it to collect unlimited amounts of money from corporations and labor unions.

From 2004 to 2008, the Congressional Black Caucus’s political and charitable wings took in at least $55 million in corporate and union contributions, according to an analysis by The New York Times, an impressive amount even by the standards of a Washington awash in cash. Only $1 million of that went to the caucus’s political action committee; the rest poured into the largely unregulated nonprofit network. (Data for 2009 is not available.)
Now, consider that $55 million in light of the outrage expressed over the last few weeks over the court’s Citizens United decision.
Color me completely shocked. Be sure to read the rest and watch the attached video. The effort here is to keep the status quo, in other words allow Democrats to continue to collect large sums of money from corporations to fund their political activities, while explicitly denying corporations from donating to groups and individuals with differing ideologies. Keep in mind that the Congressional Black Caucus is the same group of morons who visited Fidel Castro in Cuba last year and proclaimed him a great and compassionate leader.

Absolutely Disgusting

2 Informed Opinions

I read this moments ago, and could not wait until later to post on it. I've NEVER been so outraged at a person I've never met. How cold, calloused and self-serving must one be...? This review of the Salon article is from Cassy Fiano:
I came across an article on Salon entitled “How to leave a soldier” that has apparently been making ripples across the blogosphere. It absolutely infuriated me, and I knew I had to write about it.

Before I get into the article, though, let me explain some things in the interest of full disclosure. My significant other is a Marine. We live together in North Carolina while he’s stationed at Camp Lejeune. He’s an 0311 (infantry rifleman) who has been to Iraq twice and is deploying to Afghanistan this year. The first year of our relationship was long distance, with him in North Carolina and me in Florida. We’re together now, but the Corps brings us apart occasionally for training and such, and of course, for deployments. Never, ever would I do something so cowardly as to send him a Dear John letter while he was deployed.

But that’s exactly what this woman did. Meet Courtney Cook, an extraordinarily shallow and callous woman.

You’d be surprised how easy it is to leave a soldier on deployment. You can do it with a letter. (He can’t argue with you. He doesn’t have a phone.) If you lay the groundwork early, saying to the soldier before he leaves, “This will be the end of us, we might as well admit it,” it’s that much easier. The letter won’t even come as a shock.

And if you have children with that soldier? You can handle all that with a letter, too. He’ll write it — because he cares about the kids, because he wants to work with you to do what’s best for them even though you’re leaving him — and you’ll give it to them. Here again, you will avoid a nasty confrontation. Who will they cry to? You? You’re just the teary-eyed bearer of the letter. Him? The one who’s sweating it out in the desert?

There will be no moving truck, no boxes, no house torn asunder. The soldier is peeing in a bucket as you pack. He doesn’t care who gets the couch.

It isn’t enough for her to be this callous, shallow, superficial, and selfish. She’s recommending other women do the same thing, too. One of the worst parts about this is that she feels like it was a good thing to tell him while he’s away at war that she’s leaving him. She presumably doesn’t care about the effect this has on soldiers while they’re deployed.

Be sure to head over to Cassy's blog to read the entire review, and if you have the stomach for it, head over to Salon to read the original post. If you head over to Salon, take a vomit bucket with you.

Fat Blonde Puts Foot In Mouth; Begins To Chew

Also Known As

This morning on The Spew, Meghan McCain aka Young Sally Struthers, pontificated on 'exactly what's wrong with politics.' At issue is Sarah Palin's call for Rahm Emmanuel to be fired while simultaneously finding nothing wrong with Rush Limbaugh's use of the word 'retarded' when used in as satire aimed at Rahm Emmanuel. Rush's point, which was obvious to anyone in his audience, was that a Republican under the same exact circumstance, would be run out of town on a rail. However, the POTUS' chief of staff just has to act like he's sorry, then all is forgiven. So, since Rahm can say it and get away with it, then it must be okay to do now, right? When Bawbawa Wawa questioned Rush's use of 'satire,' Whoopi Gasbag chimed in saying:
"Yeah, well, when he appears at Caroline's, the comedy club, I'll believe it was satirical. "
You see, only comedians in comedy clubs can use satire. Everybody knows that.

Also on the firing range for Young Sally Struthers, Tom Tancredo's Tea Party speech. Apparently Y.S.S. no issue with uninformed voters and illegal aliens voting in the election. Fucking Brilliant. She also accuses Tom Tancredo of racism. Here are the two remarks of Tancredo's which are racist, as determined by Y.S.S.:
"People who could not spell the word 'Vote' or say it in English, put a committed Socialist Ideologue in the White House, who's name is Barrack 'Hussein' Obama..."

"...People at the convention should have to pass literacy tests in order to be able to vote in this country..."

Y.S.S. compares Tancredo's statements to the 1960's and the excuses used to deny African-Americans' the right to vote. Either Y.S.S. is extremely ignorant, or she's as retarded as Rahm Emmanuel. Citizens of the United States who'd been granted the right to vote by the Constitution were being singled out and refused their right to vote based solely upon the color of their skin. The charge of illiteracy was a canard floated as a legitimate disqualifier by racists to prevent blacks their rights. Fast forward to November 4, 2008. It is known that there are somewhere between 12 and 40 MILLION Illegal Aliens residing within the borders of this nation. Illegal Aliens, are by definition NOT citizens of the United States and are therefore legally disqualified from voting. The other burr under Y.S.S.'s saddle is the fact that Tancredo used Barry's middle name which is a McCaniac no no. I'm sure when Y.S.S. got home, John grounded her for a week just for mentioning PeeBo's middle name, regardless of the context.

If you can stand the idiocy, here is the video:
